As Hannu Ahola, who has headed Innokas Medical’s Sourcing and Logistics since 2011, decided to take on new challenges during this autumn, Innokas Medical has appointed Pekka Patja (M.Sc., Eng) as Director, Sourcing, Materials and Logistics to replace Ahola. Before joining Innokas, Patja was working for Bittium Oyj (formerly known as Elektrobit), where he has been leading manufacturing, purchasing and logistics operations. Past five years he has been leading Elektrobit’s US Operations activities from Washington DC.

In his earlier positions Patja gained significant experience in leading manufacturing and sourcing operations, and multi-cultural manufacturing transfer projects. In addition to his earlier position in USA, he has also become familiar with the international business environment working in China leading Efore’s manufacturing site in Suzhou for two years. As Sourcing Director at Innokas, Patja’s main objectives are to manage Sourcing, Purchasing and Logistics, supporting the company’s profitable growth, and enhance customer service. He is also a member of Innokas Medical’s management team.
