Mr. Jouni Toijala (MBA & BSc, Information Technology) has been appointed as new CEO of Innokas Medical. 48-year old Toijala joins Innokas from Symbio Finland Oy, where he has been holding Managing Director position since 2012. Symbio Finland employs 300 software and quality assurance professionals who work with local and global customers like Alibaba, Google, PNB Paribas, Sandvik, Suunto, TBWA, Volvo and YLE to create new innovations. Before joining Symbio Toijala has gained significant experience in leadership and R&D as he has been working in several senior management positions in Finland and abroad, for example at Meridea Financial Software and at Nokia in Finland, England and France.

As Toijala has a very strong R&D and leadership background, he brings a strong vision of developing and leading Innokas Design Services business as well as customer-oriented procedures to further strengthen Innokas practices. Toijala’s first day in Innokas is 18th of April 2016, and his main location is at Innokas Medical Helsinki office.
