Innokas Medical again participated in the Upgraded Life Festival event on May 31st that was arranged in Biomedicum at the Helsinki University Hospital campus. Upgraded Life Festival is the largest health- and wellbeing technology event in the Nordic Countries.
The event was targeted to all people interested in health and wellbeing. Participants included academic students, people from various companies and physicians. There were total of 77 different companies exhibiting, and they included companies ranging from start-ups to global ones. In addition to exhibitors, the visitors were entertained by several interesting keynote speakers, whose presentations focused on the main themes of the event: like innovations in health care, industrial internet and biohacking, big data in the field of health and wellbeing, digital health, future of patient diagnostics and treatment, and wearables. Networking was naturally the underlying theme at the event.
Innokas Medical participated at the event as exhibitor. Innokas presented its medical device design and manufacturing services, and built relationships with other companies participating at the event. Innokas was represented by Innokas’ Account Managers Antti Virtanen and Antti Tolvanen, as well as by Innokas’ Marketing Manager Elina Rautiola. Ihme felt that the participation was successful, and she tells that Innokas met some good new contacts at Upgraded Life Festival.
”Upgraded Life Festival was again very professionally arranged, and offered a wide variety of relevant content. I feel the exhibition and the whole event had clearly grown since last year. At times it was quiet at our stand, when interesting key note speakers attracted the visitors from the exhibition area to the presentation rooms, but we did meet some good new contacts at the event”, Rautiola summarizes.
Next year the open hours of the event will be extended from the previous one exhibition day to two exhibition days. Upgraded Life Festival will be arranged next year from 25th to 26th of April, 2017.
