Innokas Medical is a growing technology company specialized in healthcare technology. We implement healthcare technology design projects and manufacture products both to leading international companies and ground-breaking start-ups in Finland and abroad.  We focus on implementing solutions and services for difficult issues providing benefit to our customers throughout the whole product life cycle. We have offices in the Oulu region, in Helsinki and in Estonia.


We are now looking for a technically oriented Project Manager to join our talented Design Studio engineering team in Kempele or Helsinki. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading a highly skilled cross-functional development team in challenging customer projects. Development is done in close co-operation with customer teams utilizing latest technologies and in demanding regulatory environment. Project Manager is the key person to ensure the team succeeds to integrate the customer needs into state-of-the-art device - perfect for customer’s specific clinical environment.

You will be trusted the responsibility of planning and running projects and agreeing possible changes with customer to deliver projects in-time, on-budget and with compliance to requirements and regulatory needs. Together with the customer you will be in the driver’s seat to make things happen.


In your role you will:


  • Lead Medical Device development projects according to Medical Standards and given processes
  • Be responsible for project planning, budgeting, team management, quality, execution and financial control
  • Be the main contact point and report to our customers
  • Co-operate with other functions such as quality, sales, sourcing and manufacturing


What we expect from you?


A few years’ experience of demanding project management and leadership tasks in electromechanical product development projects gives the best readiness for this position. In addition, versatile experience of product development and wide understanding and experience of different engineering competences including software, electronics and mechanics are highly valued in this position.


We are positively surprised of earlier experience in healthcare technology product design and medical standards.


You have good communication skills in Finnish and English and your self-driven touch is a key to success. Based on your previous experience, you are equipped with great ability to communicate with customers, project team and other stakeholders, especially in challenging situations. A suitable educational background is M.Sc. in engineering or related technical field.
